A Representative list of Projects Performed

The following is a list of the more representative projects performed. This is not a comprehensive list, but more an example of work done in the past plus work under development.

Tasmota Open Source and KNX IP Support

Tasmota is an Open Source firmware for Smart Home IoT devices based on ESP8266 and ESP32 SOIC Wi-Fi Chips with easy configuration using WebUI, OTA updates, automation using timers or rules, expandability and entirely local control over MQTT, HTTP Rest API, Serial or KNX. Tasmota supports auto discovery with several home automation softwares like Home Assistant and OpenHab. Tasmota can be installed in 2000+ commercial devices and in DIY devices.

Some of the contributions to Tasmota Open Source Software

• • Developed and maintained the KNX IP Communication Driver for Tasmota. More information here.
• • Added more sensors support like GPS, Laser Distance sensors, etc.
• • Designed the On-Boarding UI for the Wi-Fi configuration among many other features.
• • Many Bugs Fixing.
• • Translations for Spanish, Italian and Portuguese versions. Write part of the documentation.

API 653 Automated Reports

Automated Reports for Technical Audits in Hydrocarbon Storage and Treatment Facilities under API 653. It is a Software developed on Excel VBA, which contains: Ribbon menu for easy access on standard Excel menus / Automatic Draw of Tank BluePrints / Read and process Data from thickness measurement robot / API 653 calculations / Automated PDF reports (full and executive reports) / Auto generation of mails / Designed to be used On-Site and for providing On-Site customer deliverables / GoogleMap integration for satellite images of the site / Interactive checklists / Interactive photos uploading.
It resulted on 99%% reduction of typing errors and increment in the quality of customer deliverables. It has been noted also a great reduction on customer complaints. It has been provided also On-site Training and Documentation.

Electronic Job Paperwork

The Electronic Job Paperwork (EJP) is a suite of integrated tools aimed to help the field operation to perform their job as precise and fast as possible, delivering the best quality. It is an all in one Automatic Budget Systems, an operation management suite, a Calculation software, it interchanges information with SAP, it stores data in the company server (FTP), it produces automatically all required emails and paperwork. It is a Software developed on Excel VBA. As all the post-processing calculations are done in an Unix Mainframe, the EJP compiles automatically an UNIX script, customized for every particular job, to perform all the data processing and generate all the final deliverables.

This COMPILER has a flexible graphic interface with all the CUSTOMER PREFERENCES so as to make very easy the modification of the data required on the job-site.
